Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bennington Bulldogs (Bennington, KS), 48-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Minneapolis upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, KS) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Ellsworth lost 65-60 in their recent non-league bout against Smith Center (Smith Center, KS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Ell-Saline Cardinals (Brookville, KS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Bennington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
