In Thursday's non-league outing, the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA), by a margin of 40-15.
The Mighty Bookers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds go into the Eastern outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Norcom was trounced by Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA), 89-33, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Salem for a Beach outing on Friday, December 8. Tallwood will encounter a Sundevils squad coming off a 43-27 non-league loss to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Sundevils record now stands at 2-1.
