West Virginia High School Basketball - Calhoun tipped by Braxton County

December 7, 2023: Sutton, WV 26601

The Braxton County Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Calhoun Red Devils to 36 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Webster County for a Little Kanawha - East contest on Monday, December 11. Braxton County will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 44-26 league loss to Roane County (Spencer, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-1.

The Red Devils (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Big Blacks enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Point Pleasant nudged Scott (Madison, WV), 47-46, in a non-league contest.
