The Lone Tree Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Cedar Valley Christian Huskies to 7 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to English Valleys for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Lone Tree will battle a Bears team coming off a 44-38 league win over Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Bears record now stands at 5-1.

The Huskies (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA). The Irish enter the Tri-Rivers - East contest with a 0-6 record.
