The Central Decatur Cardinals basketball team (Leon, IA), was overwhelmed 69-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA)
The Cardinals now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Central Valley for a West Central battle on Tuesday, December 12. Earlham will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 50-24 league loss to Panorama (Panora, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Blue Devils come into the Pride of Iowa - East battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Martensdale-St. Mary's trounced Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA), 61-8, in a league battle.
