Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX), 38-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cooper upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Llano (Llano, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Llano lost 26-18 in their recent non-league bout against Johnson City (Johnson City, TX)
Next up, the Bluecats play the Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Coleman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 37-33 non-league win over Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX).
