Cove Leopards (Cove, OR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Open Door Christian Academy Huskies (Troutdale, OR), 56-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cove upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Southwest Christian (Beaverton, OR) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Southwest Christian won 62-14 in their recent non-league bout against Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR)

Next up, the Huskies play the Crosshill Christian Eagles (Turner, OR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Open Door Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 31-30 league win over Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR).
