King City Wildkats (King City, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host DeKalb Tigers (DeKalb, MO), 35-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, King City upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Wildkats travel to Worth County (Grant City, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a Grand River West bout on Friday, December 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Worth County lost 44-29 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Osborn Wildcats (Osborn, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
