New Bremen Cardinals (New Bremen, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fort Recovery Indians (Fort Recovery, OH), 40-29 in a league bout.

With the win, New Bremen upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Lincolnview won 65-30 in their recent league bout against Ada (Ada, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Parkway Panthers (Rockford, OH) in a Midwest bout, on Thursday, December 14. Fort Recovery will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 50-45 non-league win over South Adams (Berne, IN).
