New York High School Basketball - Franklin Central topped by Schenevus Central

The Schenevus Central Dragons basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Franklin Central Purple Devils to 28 in the Dragons league victory on Thursday.

The Dragons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sharon Springs Central for a Section 4 Tri-Valley contest on Tuesday, January 16.

The Purple Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Richfield Springs Central (Richfield Springs, NY). The Indians come into the Section 4 Tri-Valley contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Richfield Springs Central prevailed over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY), 45-41, in a non-league contest.
