Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Grove City can't hold off Franklin

The Franklin Knights basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the host Grove City Eagles to 32 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Franklin will battle a Hornets team coming off a 41-35 non-league loss to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-1.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Maplewood was nudged by Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
