Goldwater Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Moon Valley Rockets (Phoenix, AZ), 41-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Goldwater upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ) to clash with the Dons in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Coronado lost 38-22 in their recent non-league bout against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ)

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Moon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Cobras go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 52-22 non-league loss to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ).
