California High School Basketball - Mt. Whitney over Kennedy

December 7, 2023: Delano, CA 93215

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA) and the host Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), saw Mt. Whitney's basketball squad overcome Kennedy by a tally of 35-27.

With the victory, Mt. Whitney improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Avenal (Avenal, CA) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Broncs come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 55-48 non-league win over Orosi (Orosi, CA).
