The Monona Grove Silver Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting La Crosse Logan Rangers to 27 in the Silver Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Silver Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vel Phillips Memorial for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Monona Grove will battle a Spartans team coming off a 66-36 league loss to Verona (Verona, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.
The Rangers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sparta (Sparta, WI). The Spartans come into the Mississippi Valley contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Sparta was routed by Holmen (Holmen, WI), 55-30, in a league contest.
