Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), 87-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Triton upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cobras host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-0. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva won 58-45 in their recent league bout against Waseca (Waseca, MN)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lewiston-Altura will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 68-53 league win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN).
