Virginia High School Basketball - Lightridge can't hold off Tuscarora

The Tuscarora Huskies basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Lightridge Bolts to 45 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Huskies now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Tuscarora will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 39-36 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-5.

The Bolts (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom (South Riding, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Freedom was nudged by Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA), 53-37, in a league contest.
