Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Washington Catholic Cardinals (Washington, IN), 52-3 in a league bout.

With the win, Loogootee upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN) to play the Vikings in a Blue Chip bout on Thursday, December 14. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Barr-Reeve won 47-17 in their recent non-league bout against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Medora Hornets (Medora, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Washington Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 55-41 non-league loss to Lighthouse Christian Academy (Bloomington, IN).
