Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX), 24-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Peaster upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Huckabay (Stephenville, TX) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Huckabay won 57-33 in their recent non-league bout against Santo (Santo, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the Graford Rabbits (Graford, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Rabbits go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 64-12 non-league win over Lingleville (Lingleville, TX).
