The Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL), 47-20 in Thursday's league test.
The Bobcats (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Goreville (Goreville, IL). The Blackcats go into the non-league test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Goreville walloped DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL), 62-54, in a non-league test.
