The Mt. Pleasant Vikings basketball team scored 32 points and held the visiting Yough Cougars to 28 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Allegheny for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Gladiators team coming off a 58-42 non-league loss to Clairton (Clairton, PA). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-2.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Bucs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.
