Texas High School Basketball - South Hills overwhelmed by Ponder

The Ponder Lions basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host South Hills Scorpions to 7 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Permian for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Ponder will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-24 non-league win over Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.

The Scorpions (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Permian (Odessa, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Permian was routed by Ponder (Ponder, TX), 47-32, in a non-league contest.
