Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sidney Cowboys (Sidney, IA), 68-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Shenandoah upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Clarinda (Clarinda, IA) to play the Cardinals in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Monday, December 11. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Clarinda won 38-37 in their recent league bout against Glenwood (Glenwood, IA)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Sidney will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 66-25 non-league loss to Stanton (Stanton, IA).
