Indiana High School Basketball - Victory Christian Academy ripped by Wheeler

December 7, 2023: Valparaiso, IN 46385

The Wheeler Bearcats basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Victory Christian Academy Lions to 11 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Station Edison for a Greater South Shore contest on Saturday, December 9. Wheeler will battle a Fighting Eagles team coming off a 71-57 non-league loss to Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Fighting Eagles record now stands at 6-1.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN). The Patriots enter the South Shore contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Calumet Christian was routed by Westville (Westville, IN), 38-23, in a non-league contest.
