Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bethel Bison (Spanaway, WA), 66-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Curtis upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Bellarmine Prep lost 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA)

Next up, the Bison clash with the South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Bethel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 47-37 non-league loss to Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA).
