Redding Christian Lions (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), 37-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Redding Christian upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Trinity (Weaverville, CA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Trinity lost 79-50 in their recent non-league bout against Tulelake (Tulelake, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 54-26 non-league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA).
