Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA), 46-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westmont upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors host Lincoln (San Jose, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Lincoln won 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA)

Next up, the Acorns play the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Live Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 54-44 non-league win over Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA).
