Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the North Valley Baptist Bulldogs (Santa Clara, CA) and the visiting The Nueva School Mavericks (San Mateo, CA), saw North Valley Baptist's basketball squad knock off The Nueva School by a count of 61-43.

With the victory, North Valley Baptist upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mountain View Academy (Mountain View, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Mavericks play the Pacific Bay Christian Eagles (Pacifica, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 4. The Nueva School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
