Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), 60-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sam Houston upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Eastern Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Scorpions play the Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. South Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
