In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors basketball team scored a good 60-43 triumph over the Kettle Falls Bulldogs.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Oakesdale (Oakesdale, WA). The Nighthawks go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Oakesdale topped Odessa (Odessa, WA), 68-56, in a non-league contest.
