Washington High School Basketball - Bellarmine Prep overwhelms River Ridge

The Bellarmine Prep Lions basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting River Ridge Hawks to 49 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Annie Wright for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. Bellarmine Prep will confront a Gators team coming off a 80-30 league win over Vashon Island (Vashon Island, WA). The Gators record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, River Ridge falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Silas (Tacoma, WA) to confront the Rams in a 3A Puget Sound game on Wednesday, December 11. The Rams go into the game with a record of 1-1. Silas lost 66-51 in their recent league game against Timberline (Lacey, WA)
