The Gregory-Portland Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Burleson Elks to 36 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a 5A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, December 10. Gregory-Portland will play a Eagles team coming off a 93-80 non-league win over Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Burleson falls to 12-5 on the campaign. The Elks travel to Ranchview (Irving, TX) to play the Wolves in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 9-2. Ranchview won 59-26 in their recent non-league game against Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX)
