The Magnolia Bulldogs basketball squad (Magnolia, TX), lost 50-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX)

With the victory, Chaparral advances its record to 7-8 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Connally (Waco, TX) to meet the Cadets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. The Cadets enter the battle with a record of 6-1. Connally won 46-43 in their recent non-league test against Mexia (Mexia, TX)

The Bulldogs (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Klein Cain (Houston, TX). The Hurricanes come into the 6A Region II District 15 test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Klein Cain beat Stratford (Houston, TX), 53-49, in a non-league test.
