The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA) and the host Church Farm Griffens (Paoli, PA), observed Great Valley's basketball team edge Church Farm by a margin of 47-40.

The Patriots (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Council Rock South (Holland, PA). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Council Rock South edged Harriton (Rosemont, PA), 59-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Griffens battle the Jenkintown Drakes (Jenkintown, PA) in a Bicentennial challenge, on Monday, December 9. Church Farm will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Drakes come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 78-60 league win over Faith Christian Academy (Sellersville, PA).
