The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) and the visiting Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH), observed Southern's basketball team knock off Clay by a score of 76-56.

The Tornadoes (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Trimble (Glouster, OH). The Tomcats come into the Tri-Valley II challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Trimble was knocked off by Waterford (Waterford, OH), 50-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Eastern Eagles (Reedsville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Clay will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
