In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Penn-Trafford Warriors basketball team scored a big 70-44 win over the Connellsville Falcons.
The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Uniontown (Uniontown, PA). The Red Raiders come into the WPIAL 5A 1 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Uniontown smashed Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA), 77-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Connellsville will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 58-27 non-league loss to Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA).
