With the victory, Cypress Ranch advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX) to face the Spartans in a 6A Region II District 16 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 5-5. Cypress Lakes won 57-38 in their recent non-league match against Navasota (Navasota, TX)

The Falcons now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taft for a 6A Region IV District 28 match on Tuesday, December 10. Stevens will face a Raiders squad coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-10.
