In Saturday's non-league test, the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), by a score of 60-43.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets (Eddyville, IA) in a South Central test, on Tuesday, December 10. Davis County will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 76-36 league loss to Albia (Albia, IA).

The Cyclones (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Lewistown (Lewistown, IL). The Indians come into the Prairieland test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Lewistown went down by Illini Central (Mason City, IL), 55-48, in a non-league test.
