The Derry Trojans basketball squad (Derry, PA), was crushed 58-27 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA)

With the victory, Quaker Valley advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Quakers host Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA) to meet the Raiders in a non-league battle on Friday, December 13. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 2-1.

The Trojans now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Connellsville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. Derry will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 70-44 non-league loss to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-2.
