The Dutchtown Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Douglass Astros to 46 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Morrow for a AAAAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, December 10. Dutchtown will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 50-45 league loss to McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Douglass falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Astros host Luella (Luella, GA) to confront the Lions in a AAA Region 5 game on Tuesday, December 10. The Lions go into the game with a record of 5-1. Luella lost 54-45 in their recent league game against Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA)
