Indiana High School Basketball - Floyd Central sneaks past Richmond

December 7, 2024: Floyds Knobs, IN 47119

The Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) basketball edged the visiting Richmond Red Devils (Richmond, IN), 72-70 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Highlanders now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Albany for a Hoosier Hills bout on Friday, December 13. Floyd Central will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 85-57 non-league win over Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Richmond falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Red devils host Marion (Marion, IN) to play the Giants in a North Central bout on Friday, December 13. The Giants go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Marion lost 75-67 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN)
