In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Steeleville Warriors basketball team scored a good 67-58 triumph over the Gibault Catholic Hawks.
The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lebanon (Lebanon, IL). The Greyhounds go into the Cahokia - Kaskaskia contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Lebanon topped Dupo (Dupo, IL), 72-64, in a league contest.
