    • Illinois High School Basketball - Pearl City can't hold off Indian Creek

    December 7, 2024: Pearl City, IL 61062

    Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL), 48-43 in a non-league match.

    With the victory, Indian Creek advances its record to 8-0 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL) to face the Titans in a Little Ten match on Tuesday, December 10. The Titans enter the match with a record of 2-2. Illinois Math & Science Academy lost 61-53 in their recent non-league match against Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL)

    The Wolves now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forreston for a Northwest Upstate Illini - North match on Tuesday, December 10. Pearl City will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 64-35 non-league win over Black Hawk (South Wayne, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-1.
