In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Northridge Knights basketball team scored a good 62-42 triumph over the Lutheran Crusaders.

The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Chicago University (Chicago, IL). The Maroons go into the Independent School contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Chicago University was toppled by Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL), 63-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Lutheran will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 66-51 non-league loss to Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL).
