The Polytechnic Parrots basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Maypearl Panthers to 34 in the Parrots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Parrots now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Central Texas Academy for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. Polytechnic will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Addison, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 17-4.

With the loss, Maypearl falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bullard (Bullard, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 8-2.
