In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Mountain View Cougars basketball team scored a good 60-52 triumph over the Springfield Millers.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against McNary (Keizer, OR). The Celtics go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Millers battle the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, December 8. Springfield will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Royal Scots go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 64-61 non-league loss to Centennial (Gresham, OR).
