Virginia High School Basketball - Unity Reed can't get by Mountain View

December 7, 2024: Manassas, VA 20109

The Unity Reed Lions basketball squad (Manassas, VA), was nudged 65-60 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA)

With the victory, Mountain View advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA) to meet the Panthers in a Commonwealth battle on Thursday, December 12. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 2-1. Massaponax won 41-31 in their recent non-league battle against Manor (Portsmouth, VA)

The Lions now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freedom for a Cedar Run battle on Tuesday, December 10. Unity Reed will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
