The Presque Isle Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Old Town Coyotes to 49 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Foxcroft Academy for a B North game on Saturday, December 14. Presque Isle will confront a Ponies team coming off a 48-36 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Ponies record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Old Town falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to confront the Crusaders in a B North game on Monday, December 9. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 0-1. John Bapst Memorial lost 88-59 in their recent league game against Caribou (Caribou, ME)
