Virginia High School Football - Varina tops Tuscarora

The Varina Blue Devils football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Tuscarora Huskies to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now hold a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Phoebus for a non-league test on Saturday, December 14. Varina will meet a Phantoms squad coming off a 34-0 non-league win over Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Phantoms record now stands at 13-0.

With the defeat, Tuscarora drops to 11-2 on the campaign.
