In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Collinsville Kahoks basketball team scored a close 41-38 triumph over the Centralia Orphans.
The Kahoks (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Breese Central (Breese, IL). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Orphans confront the O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Centralia will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
