In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets basketball team scored a close 38-33 triumph over the Deer Valley Wolverines.

The Yellowjackets (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Mary's (Albany, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Saint Mary's was tipped by Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 78-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. Deer Valley will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 60-47 non-league win over Kennedy (Fremont, CA).
